Our story.
Confidencial's patented technology was developed under the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), an entity of the U.S. Department of Defense renowned for pioneering technologies and research for national security.
Developed initially to fulfill the military's need for protecting sensitive and proprietary information, our technology was designed with two core objectives: to enable safe and predictable privacy-preserving data sharing and to develop a system capable of avoiding large-scale compromise.
The technology was incubated at the prestigious SRI International, a global hub for innovation, and honed to address a critical need. In response to rising market demand, increased attacks, and privacy needs, Confidencial was spun out in 2021 to bring this advanced, patented technology to the wider market, marking a new era in data protection.

Confidencial was recently awarded the Jury's Choice Award for Cybersecurity and Privacy Solution of the Year at the PwC Cybersecurity and Privacy Day held in Luxembourg. We were one of five distinguished finalists selected to present at this prestigious event, which showcased the latest innovations in the field.
